Bye Bye Scout...

We really said goodbye this time, though it is an open adoption and we can
will visit him when we go to Portland. Scout has a wonderful home now with
Helen and Morgan, he is blissfully happy, loved and in love...:)
Lucy took it the hardest moping around and looking for him for days...:(
The tension level is so far down from where it was so it was a good move.
Tanner took him with me to deliver him to his new home and he seemed pleased
with his new owners and looks forward to visiting soon (next weekend in
fact)

Chuck E. Cheeses (ROUSs)

We hung out at Chuck E. Cheese's for a couple hours in Eugene until it
was time to pick Mike up from the airport, back from Chicago... Owen talks
about this place all the time and was SOOOO excited to go, too bad we had
to wake him up when we got there and he was sleepy/grouchy for the most part..
but we had a good time, didn't see any ROUS's however... (Rodents of Unusual
size) for you unfortunates who have not seen Princess Bride or do not recall the
Swamp forest, or do not even appreciate the movie (?!?!) Season.

Gotta love the shorts w/cowboy boots..

Happy Birthday Grandma Rose!

the boy cousins had a good game of street football...

Owen loved watching....

Aren't they so cute together?

Would you ever guess they are related?

Beautiful cake by Shannon...

Spring Break in Portland

We had fun hanging out in the Portland Library for awhile....

What's up with all the gang signs you keep throwing me Owen?

Lindsey and I had a fabulous time running up and down all (4?) flights of the
library stairs looking for the NF/ autobiographical section right LuLu?
:D

Of Course we had to stop into Finnegans and play for awhile....

Daniel's friend Roseanne met up with us for a bit.....

Why is it that they always have more fun playing with train sets other
places than when we have had one at home? I had to lure Owen away from these toy trains by promising him a ride on a flying one (tram)

To conquer and plunder.... one of boy's (men's) most primal urges..

Mia Gellatto baby! One of our favorite places to visit when we are
in Portland..

Owen was pretty fascinated with the red featureless faced mannequins at
Puma...

He also enjoyed dressing up with footless mannequins at Urban Outfitter (Daniel
dragged us into all these stores!) My favorite was a resale shop in
Portland which will remain nameless unless you really want to know, where I
found a pair of gray Sevens jeans that were brand new tags still on and fit
perfect for 20 bucks!

Continue scrolling down if you want to see slightly less appropriate pictures of
our girls night out...

Have you met my brother Daniel the Pimp?

We had a good girls night out:)

Happy Birthday Tanner!

Tanner's birthday brings in the Spring, Oh Happy Day! Tanner is 11 this
first day of Spring and about to partake in his annual birthday breakfast...
Swedish Pancakes.. "Smor och brod gor kinder rod" !

Tanner understood that the Wii was partly a birthday gift but also a belated
Christmas gift for the whole family - we've been having lots of fun with it
(can't wait for the Wii fit!:)

another of Tanner's favorite LEMON.. lemon cupcakes with lemon frosting... mmm
mmm good!

So Tanner had a few buddies over to hang out for his birthday dinner (Spaghetti
and Meatballs, homemade Italian style of course - his other favorite) they
had fun watching a movie, playing on the Wii and playing pool, oh and they got
to watch a really awesome car wreck (souped up Charger speeding down our hill
WAYYYY too fast lost control and flipped his car - after the police left the
boys went down and swiped a peice of the fiberglass, anyway.. they had a good
time.

the other thing we got Tanner was a really big lump of salt :) no really, its
pretty cool - I found it in the Nature section at Sherms, it is a salt lamp, I
knew he'd either love it or hate it.. he must have loved it cause it's plugged
in on his bed shelf...
